Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI), a Mumbai-headquartered global technology consulting and digital solutions company, has completed the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA Business Suite as part of its digital transformation journey.

Completed in five months, the implementation was undertaken by LTI to enhance its operational performance. LTI selected SAP S/4HANA on Cloud as the best platform to enable the innovation and agility it requires.

“At LTI, we believe the change begins within,” said Aftab Ullah, COO, LTI. “We have helped several global companies with their SAP S/4HANA programs and found it to be the right platform for our own digital transformation,” he said.

LTI decided to deploy SAP S/4HANA Smart Analyser and LTI’s own Mosaic platform, following the lead of many of the company’s clients. Mosaic is a converged platform, providing data engineering, advanced analytics, knowledge-led automation, and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, enabling customers’ mobile, social, analytics, IoT, and cloud journeys.

“Digital is opening up an infinite world of new possibilities for companies to reimagine their business models, the way they work, and how they compete,” said Deb Deep Sengupta, president & managing director, SAP Indian Subcontinent. “With SAP as the digital core, LTI will be powered by live information from across its operations, to help increase productivity, improve collaboration, and drive innovation,” he said.

“In the current digital era, technology implementation as well as business process change is driven by greater agility, sharper insights and more responsive business models, which is delivered by next generation platforms like SAP S/4HANA,” said Kamolika Peres, vice president and head – Strategic Customer Program, SAP Indian Subcontinent.

Peres said that SAP S/4HANA will enable LTI to optimise its processes and enhance business excellence throughout the organisation as well as for its customers. “This is an extension of our mutual objective of enabling customers to unlock their digital potential,” he said.

Founded 20 years ago, as the information technology arm of the Larsen & Toubro group, LTI now has operations in 27 countries worldwide.
